Compobottle is global pionneer in the manufacture of compostable and biodegradable preforms based on PLA polylactic acid resin. We have the necessary experience for our customers to have preforms in a wide variety of necks, weights and colors.
We have been working on the development of compostable materials and products for more than 10 years. We have partners in America and Europe who work with bioplastic materials, such as Biplastur y Vaiv.

OUR PRODUCTS
PLA is a natural biopolymer derived from sugars from plants like corn, sugar cane and vegetable waste. This material has the same technical and converting features as the “traditional plastics”, but due to its natural raw materials, it is environmentally-friendly.
The bottle biodegradates completely within 80 days in industrial composting, and will finally dissolve into water, carbon dioxide (CO2) and humus. This composting feature is proven with following measurements: ASTM D6400, DIN V 54900-1 (Germany), EN 13432 (Europe) and GreenPla (Japan).
Preforms of PLA (acid polilactic):
- Necks 1881, 1816 and 30/25
- Grammage between 15,81 to 54 grams
- Colors: Transparent and in all colors required by the customer
Uses *: For the packaging of waters, juices and isotonic drinks
